FRED SHAHADI Sir Lavender Fred Shahadi got his start in regional theater in Philadelphia before receiving his MFA in Acting from the Hilberry Repertory Theater Company in Detroit. In addition to his Film, TV and Theater credits, Fred is perhaps best known for his national commercial campaigns which include the 2006 American entry for World's Funniest Commercials - Avis Rent-A-Car Gangsta Rap. He received awards for Best Comedic Actor as Max Prince in Neil Simon's Laughter on the 23rd Floor and Best Actor as Charlie Baker in Larry Shue's The Foreigner. |
